I most recently worked as the Director of Partnerships at the Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA), a non-profit organization committed to serving and advocating for the local running community. We are Chicagoland’s running club, providing accessible opportunities for all runners to train, race, learn, be social and volunteer. CARA is the nation’s third-largest running club, serving as the voice of local runners, as well as providing over 1,300 dates of programming and events per year. Over the past five years, I have established and managed partnerships with over 150 companies and brought in over $800K in sponsorships - the organization’s yearly budget is around $1M. Many of the companies we work with are national brands including but not limited to NovaCare Rehabilitation (Select Medical), AMITA Health (formerly known as Presence Health), University of Chicago Hospital, Orangetheory Fitness, Road Runner Sports, Honda, and more. My primary responsibility at CARA was developing, fostering and growing our sponsorship program and enhancing partner relationships. Our office works in a collaborative environment with a strong emphasis on our mission and serving our members which requires me to find creative ways to achieve both our partners, members and organization’s needs. I have 10 years of business to business sales experience. Prior to working at CARA I was the Director of Marketing and Operations for a management consulting firm, Contextual Management Institute.

On a personal note,  I am a fitness enthusiast and daily runner. I am passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle. I live in Seattle with my boyfriend/domestic partner, Tim. We recently relocated from Chicago through Tim’s employer, PwC.
